India becomes the first country to make
it to Mars in its maiden attempt.
Only the US, Europe and Russia have, so
far, sent probes that have orbited or landed on Mars. China failed in
2011.
India's Rs450-crore expedition cost is
about a tenth of NASA's Mars mission, Maven, which entered the orbit
of Mars on Monday.
